Home remedy for acne bumps and how to treat underskin acne

Consultant dermatologist Dr Jennifer Sanders, 53, is familiar with adult acne - she has spent a lifetime treating it. "Usually, an overwhelming majority of acne patients, let's say 95%, are teenagers," she says. "But that still leaves 5% of the population, and that's a large number of adults."
When you do find that acne appears on your back, a commonsense approach is not to wear tight clothes. In these days of fashion statements, this could be hard. However the important factor to remember is that you want to clear this skin disease up quickly and not have the condition advancing further. You also have to remember that the tight clothes will make your sensitive skin more irritated and as a consequence cause more of the acne.
Some cases of acne require physician intervention. If your acne is overly persistent, worsening, painful or bleeds, contact a doctor. Sometimes a prescription antibiotic is needed to clear up any secondary skin infections before acne can be treated successfully.
